Merry Christmas!

What a great few days we are having!  Right now, we are watching the snow fall.  It is not ideal weather for traveling, but it is nice for looking at!

Here are some pictures from the last couple of days:

-random pic of Lily at her preschool program and a clip from the class program
-Christmas Eve was spent at my mom and dad's for breakfast AND lunch, with lots of presents, games, and fun!  My brothers, sisters, in-laws, and nephews were all with us!
-We headed to my Nana's Christmas Eve night for more food, presents, family, and singing (notice the video clip of my cousins)
-Santa came and we opened presents on Christmas morning.  Lily got a new Jeep for her doll and Parker got a train table.
-We went to Mass and IHOP Christmas morning.
-Last night, I cooked chicken and noodles and Jeff's parents came over for dinner.

Jeff took some more pictures and video on his phone of Christmas morning, so I will probably have another post soon!  Happy snow day!

Christmas in Columbus

Merry Christmas Eve!  We have been so blessed the last few days to be with our families.  Here are pictures from Christmas in Columbus this past weekend with Jeff's brothers and sister and parents.  Dan and Jen (my BIL and SIL) were so great to host us this year in their new home.  It was gorgeous and I am so glad we were able to spend time with them.  We had a great time eating and opening gifts.  Jeff's grandparents even came from Cincinnati to be with us.

Thanks to Dan for taking so many great pictures!  I was able to snag all these from him :)

A little late but...

Congrats to my brother, Aaron, for graduating Saturday from Ball State.  After high school, he went into the Navy.  I was so proud to watch him graduate from basic training, and it was just as exciting to watch him at his college graduation ceremony.  Growing up, he was our little "bubby."  A bit of a booger, kind of pesky at times, but the cutest cheeks in Muncie :)  It is hard to believe that he is so grown-up.  He graduated with honors, all while serving our country, getting married, and having a baby.  We are so proud of you Aaron (and slightly jealous that you will be starting your new job with a higher salary than I have after 8 years of teaching) and wish you all the best as you start your new career!

Quinn Christmas-Cincinnati

Yesterday, we had our annual Quinn Christmas party in Cincinnati.  Jeff's aunts put on a great party at the clubhouse in one of their neighborhoods.  It is becoming quite entertaining with all the little kids everywhere!  Since we don't see everybody often, we look forward to this fun time.  Kids enjoy a visit from Santa and adults have a pretty entertaining white elephant gift exchange.  My father-in-law reads "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" by the fire and everyone eats the delicious food!  This is just another reminder of how great our families are.

My kids love to eat (especially sweets)

Parker isn't sure of Papaw's newly shaved head :)

Looking forward to the coming weeks!  I am especially thankful this year after hearing about all the tragedy this week in Connecticut.  My heart and prayers go out to the families.  Every day is a blessing!

I don't have good title for this :)

Words CANNOT describe how frustrated I am with blogger.  It keeps saying I am over my picture limit (I have even tried through a gmail account).  I am trying now through the google+ app from my phone.  I have tried to publish this blog a couple times and it keeps losing it.  So, here are some pictures from the past couple weeks.  I will keep trying to figure this out!

First off, Happy Birthday to my dad!  He is an amazing dad and Papaw!

Lily and I went with my SIL and niece to cookies and milk with Santa a couple weekends ago.  So fun!

Here are a couple playroom Pinterest projects.  The first are frames for artwork.  I have been spray painting them.

This one was done by Lily and I with crayons, a glue gun, and hair dryer.  Just some fun color.

Some random pics of my little man!

Playroom progress (I will have an entire post soon with some more finished pictures).  Jeff was not excited when I told him I wanted squares.  I took a lot of time and tape!

Our Elf on the Shelf, Elfie, took the time to help!

Last weekend, we drove to my uncle's funeral in North Carolina.  Out of the 48 hours we were gone, 20 were in the car.  I was very happy we were able to be with my aunt and cousin during this time though.  My aunt and uncle were a great part of my childhood, and he will be greatly missed.

Lily and Ty enjoyed the trip!
