It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

On Saturday, Jeff hauled out the Christmas totes so we could start decorating. I loved my dining room shelves at our old house, so I was a little sad not to be able to put everything out like I did there. However, the house looks very Christmasy! Lily "helped" excitedly-by helped I mean she took EVERYTHING out at once. Here is a picture of my living room during the process. Poor Parker is lost among the decorations!

Here are things cleaned up!

Here is my old brass fireplace...

Here is the new black one that Jeff installed yesterday!

Love the "L" and "P" on the kids' stockings!

And, because I love Christmas, I bought a smaller tree for the sunroom!

Lily calls this one her tree :)

Thanksgiving

The last few days have been wonderful! Wednesday, Sarah and Pat got into town and we had Pizza King at my house. We enjoyed two meals on Thanksgiving-one at my Nana's and one with the Greiner side later in the day. Friday afternoon we had family pictures with the Quinns and then a pasta lunch. Friday night, Jeff surprised me and we met Sarah and Pat, Sean and his girlfriend Becca, and other friends, Ryan and Janelle in Indy. We went to the IRT and saw, "A Christmas Carol." We watched the tree lighting on the circle. Then, we ate at Bucca di Beppo's. The best part was enjoying a relaxing, sleep filled evening in a hotel downtown. Thanks to my mom and Hannah for keeping our kids. It was great to spend time Jeff and go out with friends!

I just spent the afternoon/evening decorating for Christmas! I love this time of year :)

At Nana's the kids put on puppet shows!

Parker snoozed away.

Nolan and Pat relaxed...

There wasn't a shortage of kids at the Greiner dinner!

HAHA! Our attempt at a family pic :)

2 Months Old

Yesterday, Parker was 2 months old! It has gone fast, partly because I have been back to work for the last couple weeks. He is growing and changing everyday. He smiles a lot and is making cooing sounds. He follows voices and sounds. He moves his hands and feet a lot-this makes his bouncy chair more fun. He loves to be held and hates to sleep in his bed. He is a cuddler! He is drinking 3-3.5 ounces of pumped milk at a time, usually every 2.5-3 hours. He is awake for longer periods of time, especially first thing in the morning and in the evening before bed. He sleeps about 5 hours at a time at night.

He goes to the doctor next week, so I will post height and weight then!

Klump Thanksgiving

Saturday we went to Dayton to visit with the Swans. It was Parker's first trip to their house (he did great in the car) and Lily was VERY excited to see Ty. Sarah and I got a jump start on Christmas shopping. It was great seeing them. It also broke up our drive to Cincinnati to visit the Klumps for Thanksgiving (Jeff's mom's parents/siblings). It was great to see everyone and for them to meet Parker for the first time.

Of course, we wanted to try and get some pictures. Nolan wasn't liking this too much!

Here are the boys in their matching pjs.

Callie and Lily had a blast at Grandma and Grandpa Klumps!

Evan and Parker had some playtime!

It is wonderful for the kiddos to see their great-grandparents!

And Parker!

Look at my smiley boy! Love him!

Nolan and Parker are rockin' the same jammies!

Baby Lily and Baby Parker

This is Lily (she is actually 3 months old here).

This is Parker (7 weeks old).

I think they look similar! What do you think? He seems to have a longer face then Lily. And YES! Parker is a chunk-already weighing 11 pounds!

This is Lily at Parker's age now.

I made it!

I made it through my first week back to school (and so did my mom)! Everything went pretty smoothly. My students were excited to have me back. The transition went well and I got them back into my routine. Actually the days went fast because I was constantly doing something (teaching, pumping, making copies, etc).

My mom did great with both Lily and Parker. Parker took his bottles really well. Both of the kids have had colds, and I actually took Parker to primetime to be checked out on Thursday night. The doctor said his lungs were fine-just congestion. Ready for the colds to be out of our house!

Today we are off to Lily's school bazaar and then I need to catch up on things at home. I feel like we are always going a million miles an hour. Two kids definitely keep things interesting.

Lily LOVES having her brother around!

He looks a little drugged here! He didn't like the flash!

Back to work...

...and I really don't want to leave these kiddos! The past six weeks have flown by, and I have enjoyed every exhausting moment of it. The extra time with Lily and the bonding time with Parker have been wonderful. I really wish I could take an entire 3 months off, but I do have Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks to look forward to. I know my babies will be in good hands. I will let you know if I survive teaching!

Lily LOVES her brother, but sometimes he isn't so sure about her!

Parker has been smiling so much! I get the best smiles (which makes me feel good since I did all the work getting him here!). He is a cuddly, sweet boy!
