Fall Photos by Megan

Megan was kind enough to spend two different days snapping pictures of the Quinn grand-daughers (Lily, Caitly, Callie, and Avery). Enough that is was a hard task wrangling them for photos, I love just seeing them in action! Megan always gives us beautiful memories :)

Megan has been so wonderful and taken Lily, Caitlyn, Callie, and Avery's pictures two different days. It is very tricky trying to wrangle and keep toddlers happy. Here are a couple pictures she has sent me. I am really excited to see the rest!

Wigley

Lily loves our dog Wigley (it is really Rigley). Captured some moments outside with the two of them today. Rigley is very patient as she pulls and pats on her!

I just wanted to send out a special thanks to all my friends and family who called, message, visited, helped with Lily, brought food, said prayers, or sent goodies. It means a lot to have so many people care about me! I am feeling much better today-it was a little rocky for a few days. I went to work half day today and get to go to the cross country meet tomorrow. Each day, I feel a little more like myself. As sad and hard as this experience has been, I know just how truly blessed we are to have Lily. I have faith that God works in mysterious ways and that everything will work out! Keep praying for a clean bill of health as I return to the doctor on Monday for some final check-ups. Lord knows my body cannot handle giving anymore blood! Happy weekend!

Last night, we headed to the BSU game against Liberty. Even though the Cardinals didn't win, we still had a great time. Lily enjoyed the atmosphere-especially the instruments and flags. Thanks to Papaw Quinn for the tickets, and thanks to Grandma Quinn, Holly, Eric, and Callie for letting us hang out with them!

Funny Talk

Jeff: Lily, you need to go potty before your bath.
Lily: Okay, but I don't wanna poop.
Jeff: Why not, you need to poop.
Lily: I don't wanna poop.
Jeff: But you really need to.
Lily: No, I don't wanna.

(The conversation kept going like this for a while. It just makes me laugh to see my six foot, 200lb husband having this silly conversation with our little, stubborn daughter. She has been very into daddy lately, and that makes me happy :)-no matter what they talk about!)

Labor Day Weekend

The long weekend flew by, but we had a great one! Friday night, Sarah, Pat, and Ty came into town. Saturday, everyone came to watch Hannah and I at the cross country meet. It was a beautiful weekend, so we grilled out afterward. Stephen and Aaron were even able to visit! Sunday, Megan attempted pictures of the four Quinn grand-daughters at the duck pond. That was an adventure!

Sunday and Monday, Jeff was busy on the house. We are hoping to have it on the market in a couple weeks. Everything is really coming together! Back to work tomorrow, but at least it is a short week.
