Happy Birthday Caitlyn!

Today is our niece Caitlyn's 3rd birthday! We hope she has a wonderful day :)

Is it Spring yet?

As I am writing this, I have missed my fifth day of school (I think) because of snow. Now, some of you might think that sounds fun to be out of work for the day, but we have to make the days up-in JUNE! Although I have gotten a lot done today, we missed our ISTEP pep rally at school. Next week, ISTEP testing starts, and we have missed a lot of preparation days because of the snow.

Hopefully warmer weather is right around the corner. I am always relieved to see the month of March coming into view.

The sun is shining, so maybe this is our last bit of snow :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

We hope everyone has had a special Valentine's Day! We are lucky to have so many people who love us in our lives :) I was surprised today by Lily and my mom at school. They came during my class Valentine's party and brought me a special card and treat. Lily keeps talking about how loud my class was!

We are OVER winter...

Lily was literally crying today about wanting to swim. I can't say I blame her. Winter needs to be over. So, because she is a spoiled little princess, we brought the pool to her! She is in HEAVEN! She just told me, "Thank you mommy. This is so fun!" Whatever keeps her entertained and happy :)

Snow, Sleet, and Ice!

Well...we are snowed/iced in! Thankfully, we haven't lost power, but I think a lot of people are losing their minds from being inside! Being stuck in the house seems fun at first, but I am pretty antsy and so are Lily and Jeff. We are going to venture to Target to pick up a few things and hopefully the change of scenery will do us some good. Hope everyone else is safe and warm. It looks like I will have my third day off of school tomorrow.
