Another home project...why not?

What would our life be like without a major house project?  Actually, Jeff and I really do like doing projects like this (which is good because I am pretty sure that we have about 50 years worth of projects at this house!).  So here we are...opening up the other side of the stairway. 

This project actually lead to a bigger project of opening up the 4th (VERY TINY) bedroom in our house to be more of a loft at the top of the stairs.

And we are taking out the front coat closet because it is literally what the front door opens into to.  We aren't sure what we will be doing in the space yet...maybe a smaller closet or no closet at all and have a storage bench or something.

I will keep the progress posted!

Happy Birthday Stephen!

I couldn't resist sharing a few precious pictures to celebrate my brother's 28th birthday today.  Love you Steve, and I am thankful every day to have you as a brother and for Lily and Parker to have you as an uncle!  Can't wait to celebrate with you tomorrow :)

 

Cardinal Cuties

I only posted a few of these pictures but I might put some on our Christmas card...I just love how sweet these kids are!  I get so tickled seeing them have so much fun with their cousins.  I especially love the boys together in their baseball jerseys.  What a great day and great memories!

Halloween

We had a great Halloween!  Friday, we trick-or-treated with the Swans (since trick-or-treating was moved because of the weather).  This kids were a vampire, Ariel, Woody, and a dragon.  It was cute listening to them go up to houses!

  

 We also had a great time today at the Hart/Landis Halloween Bash!  Maria snapped pictures there, so I will steal some to post soon!!

I couldn't resist posting this...Parker coaxed Jeff into playing with him in the tent (that he is much too big for).  What a good daddy :)
