15 months old

a proud moment for daddy-lily on the 4 wheeler!

proud of herself for climbing on the slide

with her new bucket and rake

always a tongue shot

this is a quinn face :)

It's hard to believe that yesterday I took Lily for her 15 month check-up. She was a little over 23 pounds (average range) and 31.5 inches tall. She HATED the doctor's office since she has now figured out that you get shots when you get there. After wrestling her down, we got through the exam. She is doing everything a normal 15 month old should do. She says more and more each day. Her sweet little "please" is my favorite! We ended the day with a strawberry milkshake and wagon ride since she suffered through 2 shots. Here are some pictures from the past few days.

this pic is from the past week-we are so lucky to spend so much time with our niece, Callie! Lily is showing her animals.

Today, Lily and I enjoyed the nice weather! Since Jeff was down at his hunting cabin, we cleaned up the house, did some laundry, went to the library, played outside (Lily even watched me mow the lawn), and took a walk (stopping by the Harts)! Later in the afternoon, we headed to the Jones' household. Eric, Holly, and I went for a run while Chris watched the girls. They invited us to stay for dinner-it was soo good! It was a great visit! Lily was worn out and asleep in her carseat before we left their neighborhood!

Sunshine!

Today was BEAUTIFUL! If only the nice weather would stay around. Lily has been able to play outside the past few days with the grandmas and Callie. She loves, loves, loves to run around in the yard and swing. We are trying to enjoy the next few weeks before things get really busy. In two weeks, I run the Indy Mini Marathon. Then, Jeff, Lily and I are headed to Hilton Head for a wedding (which should be a nice vacation). This takes me up to the BIG EVENT-the 50 mile run in the Keys! I cannot believe it is so close...let the freak out begin :)

Easter Sunday

After an early morning wake of 5:00 am (Lily just won't sleep this week!), we lounged around the house and then got ready for church. It was a wonderful Mass (we love the children's choir and Jason's choice of music)! Next, we were off to Nana's for lunch and more egg hunting. Lily was getting the hang of it by the end. She even had some money in her eggs. Sarah and I sent the babies with the dads and were going to have some shopping time, but NOTHING was open. We came back and had an ice cream instead. Back to work tomorrow!

Easter Part One

Saturday, we celebrated with the Greiners. We had a great dinner. GG (Grandma Greiner) had eggs for the little ones to find too!! Lily liked looking for "balls."
