Easter

 Easter was fantastic!  It was a bit of whirlwind since it happened right after I came back from Florida, but it was fun nonetheless.  We colored and created egg people...

We went to the spring BSU football game and egg hunt...

The Easter bunny visited and brought goodies!

And we spent time with family at Nana's house after Easter Mass! 

When I asked Lily if she understood why we celebrate Easter (not just for the bunny and eggs and goodies) she said, "Yes.  It is because Jesus rose on the third day.  If he didn't die for us, life would still be rough!"

I loved her explanation!  The Quinns are celebrating all there is to be thankful for this spring!

It's Friday

Happy Friday!  I am SO happy it is Friday.  The first round of ISTEP is over, and we only have one more week until spring break.  

We are celebrating March Madness at school with a "Tournament of Books!"  We have voted for the final four and will choose the champion next week.

Winter Blues

Sorry I have been a terrible blogger...WINTER is getting the best of me!  A lot has been going on though.  As always, we are still knee deep in projects at home.  Lily is in art class and Girls Scouts.  I am busy at school getting ready for ISTEP testing.  Parker is getting molars (this hasn't been pleasant for any of us).  Jeff has been working, working, working!  Here are a few pics from the past couple weeks.

We went to the Fair Grounds with my parents a couple weekends ago and saw a neat train exhibit!

Lily's Skating Party

Yesterday, we celebrated Lily's birthday at Gibson's Skating Arena.  She picked the Tinkerbell theme and the skating party, so we went with it!  Easy planning for me because you just bring cake!!

It actually turned out to be a good idea because everyone has been stuck inside with the horrible weather, so skating was a nice break from the freezing cold.  I loved seeing ALL AGES out on the skating rink!!

Lily had a great time with her friends and family, and we appreciate everyone coming to celebrate with us!
