Disney On Ice!

My parents got Lily tickets to see this year's "Princesses on Ice" in Indy.  My mom and I drove surprised Lily by taking her Friday.  Lily gets SO EXCITED about everything-which made the surprise even better.  If you have never been to a Disney on Ice show, you must go!  I think my mom and I liked it as much as Lily!

These pictures aren't the greatest because of the lighting, but you get the idea!  We saw Jasmin, Belle, Snow White, Tinker Bell, Tiana, Aurora, Mickey and Minnie, Goofy, Ariel, and some of their friends!

Happy 6th Birthday Lily Bug!

It is incredibly hard to believe that our sweet girl is 6 years old already!  I know that every parent says this, but time really does fly.  I remember getting her nursery ready.  I remember all the sleepless nights that she was up crying.  I remember her bald head.  I remember her first steps.

What a difference six years makes!  We are so blessed to be her parents!

Happy Birthday Lily Bug!

Her birthday was actually on Friday, and she was excited to be at school on this day to take in treats.  Today, despite the horrible weather, we are going to attempt a skating party!

New Adventures

I hope everyone is cyber world is off to a great New Year!  Ours has been full of....SNOW!  I am off today for our 6th snow day this year.  I very much ready for spring!

2014 has already brought some pretty great things though...

Lily was chosen to receive the "MLK Citizenship Award" for her class!  They choose students who behave, are good leaders in class, and are kind to others.  She was able to walk across the stage at Muncie Central High School Saturday morning and receive her certificate.  We are very proud!  I am also in denial that she will be six on Friday :(

Despite the cold, we have gotten to play in the snow a bit...

 I joined a new business!!  I am now a skin care consultant for Rodan and Fields.  I had a great "Big Business Launch" Friday night with friends and family.  I LOVE using the products so spreading the word to others is really fun.  If anyone out there is interested in the products or business, let me know!

Our front entry is coming along too...still lots of things to do, but it has much improved the last few weeks!

Great Moments of 2013

2013 was a great year!  Here are some of the highlights of our year...

Lily turned 5!

I finished my Master's degree and turned 30 years old (and ran 30 miles)!

Jeff and I celebrated 8 years of marriage and he didn't break any bones this year!

Lily started Kindergarten!

Parker turned 2!

We were able to spend lots of time creating memories with our family!
