I started back to work this past Tuesday and boy am I BEAT! It is hard to get back in the swing of the daily routine. Both of the kids have had colds, and Parker seems to be having a rough time getting over it. It is always hard to figure out what is going on with a baby, and it is sad to see them miserable (and hard when they won't sleep!). Despite the cold/cough, Parker continues to grow into a happy little chunker. His day usually goes like this:
Wake up around 6:30 to eat. Get dressed (usually because he has pooped in his outfit). Go back to sleep around 7:30. Wake up again and eat. Then PLAY! He likes his new play mat from Santa.

He also likes to get his bouncy chair going! He is getting really good at grabbing toys.
After he plays for about an hour, he is sleepy again. Unfortunately, he only takes 30-45 minute catnaps throughout the day. WHY DON'T MY KIDS SLEEP?? He is very happy right after his bottle and gives us lots of smiles. He will never smile when I have the camera out though!
This eat, play, sleep routine pretty much goes on throughout the day. He gets a bath each night (because he spits up and drools too much). He is ready for bed around 7:30 or 8 and typically wakes up around 2 or 3 to eat. He has been up more the last week because of the congestion (ughh). We are still trying to get him in his bed at night. What a battle!
Here is a video I snapped today. He is getting better at holding his head up during tummy time. I had him on his tummy earlier in my room and ran to get the camera. When I came back, he had rolled over. I can never get him to do it in front of me. I know we are close to lots of rolling. He is also laughing more which is just too cute. I hope to capture that on camera soon!
