dinner in Bloomington
The boys' and girls' cross country teams went to Brown County State Park for camp the week. Twenty-two runners went (we were missing some of the team) supervised by Kris Scholtes (the boy's coach) and myself. After driving down and setting up camp Monday in beautiful weather, we were soaked out of our site early Tuesday morning due to storms. We went to dry clothes at a laundry facility. While we were there, another terrible storm knocked the power out until Wednesday. We made the best of it and spent time in Bloomington. One of our runners' parents was kind enough to find a cabin for us to stay in the last two nights. It was in the middle of nowhere, which was a little creepy, but at least it was dry! It was an adventure! Despite it all, we were able to get a lot of running in and enjoy the team bonding!
